Luxury Brera Apartments Stuttgart: Your Dream German Getaway Awaits!
Luxury Brera Apartments Stuttgart: My (Honestly, Amazing) German Getaway - Messy Review Ahead!
Okay, buckle up buttercups, because I'm about to spill the tea (or maybe the Glühwein, since we're in Stuttgart) on the Luxury Brera Apartments. Forget those bland, polished reviews, this is the real deal. I'm talking honest-to-goodness, warts-and-all experience. And honestly? It was pretty freakin' glorious.
First Impressions (aka, the Accessibility Gauntlet):
Right, this is a tricky one for me personally, as I'm able-bodied. But! I always, always look for accessibility information, because frankly, it's the right thing to do, and I want to know if I can recommend it to EVERYONE. From what I could gather (and looking at their provided information), the Brera Apartments SEEM to be taking it seriously. They've got elevator access, which is HUGE. I'm not sure about the details – like, are the bathrooms fully adapted? – but the website mentions "Facilities for disabled guests" and, crucially, they have CCTV in common areas and outside the property, which is a good sign for safety and security. Check-in/out [express] and Check-in/out [private] are both options, potentially streamlining the process and catering to individual needs. However (big however), I'd still advise calling ahead for detailed accessibility info: ask specifics about room layouts, grab bars, and door widths. They're not perfectly clear on the accessibility front in the website, and if accessibility is crucial to you, make sure you confirm EVERYTHING. Don't just assume.
The Techy Bits (or, How I Stayed Connected, and Didn't Lose My Mind):
Okay, let's be honest. I need Wi-Fi like I need oxygen. And thankfully, at the Brera, they came through. Free Wi-Fi in all rooms! Praise be! The internet was pretty darn fast. No buffering during my late-night Netflix binges. They also have Internet [LAN] if you're a purist, but seriously, who uses LAN anymore? And of course Wi-Fi in public areas – essential for Instagramming your breakfast buffet (more on that later!). They offer Internet services as well. (I did not test the fax, I am an adult, and I have lived in the age of email).
Cleanliness and Safety: Because Germs and Worries are for Losers (Mostly):
This is where the Brera really shines. I am a bit of a germaphobe (don't judge!), and I was actually impressed. They're clearly taking COVID seriously. They boast Anti-viral cleaning products, Daily disinfection in common areas, Hot water linen and laundry washing, Individually-wrapped food options, Physical distancing of at least 1 meter, Professional-grade sanitizing services, Room sanitization opt-out available, Rooms sanitized between stays, Safe dining setup, Sanitized kitchen and tableware items, Staff trained in safety protocol, and Sterilizing equipment. I'm telling you, I felt safer there than I do in my own apartment! This is a HUGE selling point for the super-wary traveler. They also offer Hand sanitizer everywhere. Just… be careful, this is Germany, and they won’t take kindly to you stealing EVERYTHING.
The Food! (Oh, the Food! And, a Slight Disaster):
Okay, where do I even begin? The Breakfast [buffet] was a culinary masterpiece! (Or, at least, a very decent one.) They had EVERYTHING! Asian breakfast, Western breakfast. Seriously, I'm still dreaming about the pastries. They offer Alternative meal arrangement, which is handy for picky eaters like me. They also have Buffet in restaurant which included a lovely Coffee/tea in restaurant. They offer Breakfast service in my room. Also, they even had Salad in restaurant, Soup in restaurant, Desserts in restaurant. Okay, I am drooling as I type this.
Now, for the slight disaster. One morning, feeling ambitious, I ordered Breakfast in room. It arrived… beautifully presented, and I immediately attacked the croissants. Then… disaster struck: I spilled coffee. EVERYWHERE. All over the crisp white sheets, a small, but very present, part of the carpet, the lovely wooden bedside table. I felt like a complete idiot. Called housekeeping, convinced I'd ruined everything. Thankfully, the staff were AMAZING. They didn't bat an eyelid (or yell at me, for which I was eternally grateful) and had everything cleaned up in a flash. Crisis averted! And they still managed to make me another coffee. Amazing!
They also offer Room service [24-hour]. They have a Coffee shop – perfect for a quick pick-me-up. And a Snack bar, which is a lifesaver when you're wandering in after a long day of sightseeing. Sadly, I didn't get to test the Vegetarian restaurant or Asian cuisine in restaurant since I had a limited stay, but I'm guessing they are amazing.
But the Best Part? (Beyond the Food, Though it's Hard to Beat): The Relaxing Bits!
Okay, this is where the Luxury Brera becomes something special. They have a Spa/sauna. I could not get enough of the Sauna. Seriously, I went in there every single day. I had a Massage…oh, my aching muscles! The Pool with view? Stunning! Truly, a total escape. They also have a Steamroom and Swimming pool [outdoor] and even the Fitness center is pretty darn well-equipped. They offer Body scrub and Body wrap which were also amazing.
The Rooms: A Sanctuary of Comfort (and, of course, Wi-Fi):
Okay, the rooms were basically a dream. I snagged a Non-smoking room (phew), and it was spacious, stylish, and ridiculously comfortable. Highlights: Air conditioning, a Blackout curtains (essential for sleeping off the jet lag), a super-spacious Bathroom, a Coffee/tea maker (obviously!), and Free bottled water. The Wi-Fi [free] was, again, a lifesaver. The High floor view was absolutely stunning. There was a Seating area, which was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. There was also a Sofa, perfect for curling up with a book. They offer Additional toilet. Alarm clock, Air conditioning, Bathrobes, Bathroom phone exist as well.
Just a small note: I didn't need it, but it's worth noting they also have Interconnecting room(s) available and even Couple's room.
The Weird and Wonderful (or the Things that Made Me Go "Huh"):
- They have a Shrine. (I’m not religious, but hey, it's…interesting.)
- Cashless payment service is a huge plus in today's world. But I used mainly cash anyway.
- The Terrace overlooking the city was AMAZING! (And perfect for people-watching.)
- They had Soundproof rooms which, let's be honest, is a lifesaver when you're surrounded by tourists.
- They have a Gift/souvenir shop (essential for last-minute present buying!).
- The Doorman was super helpful with my luggage – because, well, I pack like I'm moving to the desert.
The "Meh" Moments (Because No Place is Perfect):
- I didn't see any Pets allowed sign (though, I could have missed it).
- I didn't use all the services (like the Babysitting service, the Business facilities, or the Car power charging station) because I was there for pure, unadulterated relaxation. However, they are available.
Getting Around and Other Conveniences:
They have a Car park [free of charge]! Huge win! There's also a Car park [on-site] if the free one is full (and a Valet parking service). Airport transfer can be arranged. They offer Taxi service. I also suggest Bicycle parking for a truly German experience.
The Verdict: Book it! (But Double-Check for Accessibility!)
Listen, I’m picky. I’m a travel snob. And Luxury Brera Apartments Stuttgart? It exceeded my expectations. It's stylish, comfortable, clean, and the staff are genuinely lovely. The location is perfect, the food is outstanding, and the spa… chef's kiss.
Important Caveat for Accessibility: Seriously double-check if accessibility is your priority. Call ahead, ask specific questions. Don't assume.
Final Verdict: 9/10 (with a slight knock-down for the accessibility uncertainty). Absolutely recommended.

Craving a getaway
Escape to Paradise: Clarence Cottage, Mussoorie's Hidden Gem
Alright, buckle up buttercups, because this ain't your grandma's stiff-upper-lip travel itinerary. We're diving headfirst into the swirling chaos of my Stuttgart adventure, starting and ending at the gleaming (and slightly terrifyingly modern) Brera Serviced Apartments. Expect some rambling, some gushing, some "oh god, what have I gotten myself into?" moments, and a healthy dose of me, unfiltered.
Stuttgart Scramble: A Mostly Coherent Adventure (Maybe)
Day 1: Arrival & A Deep Breath (and a Pretzel)
- Morning (ish): Okay, flight's landed. Praise the travel gods! (Or whoever delivers your suitcase in one piece). Finding the Brera was surprisingly easy. Signs, bless 'em. The apartment? Seriously sleek. Too sleek, maybe? I feel like I should put on a lab coat just to sit on the couch. Note to self: Figure out the coffee machine before I completely lose it. My inner monologue is already gearing up for a meltdown.
- Mid-morning (because jet lag): Pretzel mission. Because, Germany. Found a little bakery near the apartment. The pretzel? Glorious. Salty, chewy, perfect. I'm officially in love with Stuttgart. Everything is going to be fine. Probably.
- Afternoon: Unpack. Fail miserably at folding clothes. Stare blankly at the washing machine. Read three pages of the user manual. Give up. Decide I'll "air dry" my socks. This is going to be a long trip…
- Evening: Reconnaissance mission. Wandered around Marienplatz. The architecture! Wow. Suddenly feeling like a tourist. Got lost. Twice. Found my way back. Triumph! Dinner at some random restaurant. Food was… decent. Overpaid for water. Classic Europe.
Day 2: Cars, Castles & Cranky Feet
- Morning: The Mercedes-Benz Museum. Oh. My. God. So much chrome! So many shiny, death-defying machines! I'm not even a "car person," but I was mesmerized. I think I took about 300 photos. (See below for my epic photo album). Seriously! It's like a time capsule of insane engineering. The whole experience left me slightly dizzy. In a good way.
- Mid-day: The Porsche Museum. Felt a bit like an imposter, but I went anyway. Pretty cool, but nowhere near the size of the Mercedes. I was starting to become a car-snob, apparently.
- Afternoon: Walked to the Neues Schloss. The views! Stunning. (Note to self: pack better shoes. My feet are rebelling.) Stood in awe, took a million more photos. Considered buying a postcard, decided against it. Just wasn't that into postcards.
- Evening: Tried to find a traditional German restaurant. Failed. Ended up eating at an Italian place. Pasta was good. My feet are not good. Need to eat some more pretzels or something.
Day 3: Uh, Wein? & A Wild Goose Chase
- Morning: Headed out to vineyards. I even signed up for a wine tasting. It's all about the immersion, right? The countryside was breath-taking. Green green green! The wines? Well…let's just say I'm not a sommelier.
- Afternoon: Went shopping. Bought a cutesy souvenir.
- Evening: Attempted to go to a concert. Got the time wrong. Sat in a park with a beer. Watched people. I felt like I was in a bad spy movie and I was so happy.
Day 4: The Kunstmuseum & Existential Dread
- Morning: Art museum. I am not a big art person, but I like it.
- Afternoon: Back at the apartment. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this place. Maybe.
- Evening: Went to try a restaurant. I was told it was good. It was not. I considered writing a scathing review on google maps. I did not. I'm still contemplating it. Food, here, is a coin flip.
Day 5: Farewell & A Sudden Longing for Pretzels
- Morning: Packing. Trying to remember where I hid the dirty socks. Checking out of the Brera. Saying goodbye to my shiny minimalist prison (I mean, apartment).
- Mid-day: Headed to the airport. Realizing I'm going to miss Stuttgart. (Okay, maybe not miss, but I'm okay with having seen it).
- Afternoon: Goodbye pretzels. Goodbye shiny things. Goodbye, and thanks for the memories (and the sore feet).
The Messy Aftermath:
- The Verdict on the Brera: Phenomenal apartments. Super-modern. A tad impersonal. Great location. Would recommend (if you're into the whole minimalist vibe).
- The Food: Hit or miss. Pretzels? Always a win.
- The Feelings: Exhausted but rejuvenated. A little bit sad to leave. Already fantasizing about my next adventure. And, of course, the next pretzel. Stuttgart, you weird, wonderful place, you.
- Further Thoughts: I wish I had known more German. I wish I'd packed comfier shoes. I wish I had stayed a day longer.
- Next Time: Definitely going back. And I'm bringing ALL the socks.
Photo Album (highlights - and there were many):
- A blurry photo of a pretzel. Obvs.
- A picture of me. Very touristy.
- A photo of a car (or several).
- A close-up of some fancy architecture.
- A blurry photo of a beer (shocking, I know)
- The picture of all the socks.
I am not responsible for any emotional breakdowns, pretzel-induced cravings, or sudden desires to become a car aficionado that this itinerary may or may not cause.

Luxury Brera Apartments Stuttgart: Your Dream German Getaway Awaits! (…Maybe?)
Okay, so what *actually* makes these Brera apartments so “luxury”? Like, are we talking solid gold toilets? (Asking for a friend…)
Are these apartments good for families? My kids are… loud. And messy. (Understatement of the century.)
What’s the deal with parking? I’ve heard parking in Germany is… challenging. To put it mildly.
I'm a foodie! Will I be able to easily access amazing restaurants? Are we talking Michelin-star stuff?
What about the location of the apartments? Are they in good neighborhoods? (Safe? Lively?)
What about the service? Are they helpful? Or are you left to your own devices?
Okay, be honest: Would you recommend a Brera apartment? Tell me if, in the end, it's worth the hype!
